Dr. Sheri C. Byrd has been in the Upstate since attending college at Furman University and after completing MUSC for medical school. She returned here with her husband to pursue her career in Pediatrics. She began practicing in Woodruff with her husband and has co-owned and managed Byrd Medical Associates for the last 14 years. BMA developed a small business with Skin Pen and some chemical peels but has now expanded to include ICON and TempSure facial resurfacing and skin tightening procedures. Certified in these techniques as well as hair removal and other treatment techniques, she has benefitted from the amazing results these machines offer. She has practiced Pediatrics and will continue to do so along with expanding the practice to aesthetics. “Dr. Sheri” has strong ties to the community through her own children, Caroline, Parker, and Sarah Katherine, and through church and outreach activities. 

Dr. Edwin O. Byrd III, MD, MPH, is a family medicine physician with over 30 years of clinical experience. He earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and holds a Master of Public Health, reflecting his strong commitment to preventive care and community health. Dr. Byrd completed his residency in Family Medicine at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System and co-founded Byrd Medical Associates in Woodruff, South Carolina, alongside his wife, Dr. Sheri Byrd. His practice offers comprehensive care for patients of all ages, with a focus on managing chronic conditions, promoting wellness, and integrating aesthetic services. Dr. Byrd is dedicated to delivering compassionate, personalized care and is currently accepting new patients.
